I guess this is good news since Johnny Hekker signed with the Titans.

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers found a new punter Tuesday.
The team agreed to terms with former Buffalo punter Sam Martin.
The 35-year-old Martin averaged 46.7 yards per punt last year, with 25 punts inside the 20.
The Appalachian State product has also punted for the Lions and Browns in his career.
He was initially a fifth-round pick.
Incumbent punter Johnny Hekker was a free agent, so long snapper JJ Jansen will have a new face to work with.

Me too, but his punting was off last year from previous years.

Sorry to see Hekker leave. Good punter. All Decade team. Don't remember any really "bad" kicks, although there were a few not up to his usual mark. Still, everyone is entitled to have an off day.... even an off season. Hope he does well (except against us of course..).
