RE: Salary cap today - Hobbit99 - 03-15-2025 As of 3/15 --- That's today. ... Hmm. I wonder if that includes everyone.? OR - Just the ones who have actually signed the contracts.?? ![]() If it includes all of our "AGREED TO TERMS" guys or all of them have "signed", then we are in decent shape.!! There's probably a few $M more left around to be picked up if we need it... ![]() RE: Salary cap today - Firstchance - 03-15-2025 I’m impressed with what I consider some very solid moves and I get encouraged…then I remember we have Bryce. He is a nice guy though. Sure wish we would draft us a solid young backup QB. Like -- Oh, I don't know, maybe that kid from Notre Dame. Riley Leonard, that's it.!! RE: Salary cap today - PantherFan007 - 03-17-2025 We'll probably have a couple of restructures in the next few months. Wouldn't surprise me RE: Salary cap today - Hobbit99 - 03-17-2025 (03-17-2025, 08:34 PM)PantherFan007 Wrote: We'll probably have a couple of restructures in the next few months. Wouldn't surprise me Yes... Nothing would really surprise me. However, once the contracts for this year are settled and are "in the books", there will be little reason to 'hurry' anything about salary cap. The less 'restructuring' we do, the less we have to worry about carrying forward to next year and the year after, and the year after that.!! Of course, if we make a lot of cap space with extensions and restructuring, we can carry forward whatever is left over, so more for next year. Which, of course, means more "obligations" going forward as well....... I don't know....... This "cap" stuff defies understanding. ![]() |
