RE: UNDRAFTED FREE AGENTS SIGNINGS - Hobbit99 - 04-27-2025
This is the hardest part of evaluating DRAFT day. The UDFAs and the reports from their agents are going viral. Unfortunately, the information is "all over the place".
I started tracking this early this morning but decided to wait for clarity -- which has not come to pass. IMPORTANT to note here is that all of this information is not official. The Panthers have not made any announcements (yet...).
Still, it makes interesting reading. So, here are the reports I have been following.....
(1) SPORTS ILLUSTRATED: https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/draft/carolina-panthers-2025-undrafted-free-agent-tracker
Ethan Garbers, QB, UCLA - (via Jordan Schultz)
Kay'Ron Lynch-Adams, RB, Michigan State - (via Michigan State)
Jacolby George, WR, Miami - (via Tom Pelissero)
Michael Tarquin, OT, Oklahoma - (via Mike Kaye)
Steven Losoya, C, Vanderbilt - (via Sleeper)
Tuasivi Nomura, LB, Fresno State - (via Gabe Camarillo)
Corey Thornton, CB, Louisville - (via Aaron Wilson)
Mike Reid, CB, San Diego State - (via Tom Pelissero)
Isaac Gifford, S, Nebraska - (via Tom Pelissero)
Ryan Fitzgerald, K, Florida State - (via Mike Kaye)
Miami wide receiver Jacolby George landed a massive extension, with Carolina giving him $215,000 to sign.
(2) CAT CRAVE: https://catcrave.com/panthers-quietly-make-10-roster-moves-immediately-after-2025-nfl-draft
Cat Crave has a text based list rather than a bulleted list. They have TEN players listed with paragraphs of information on each. Obviously, a lot of the players are the same as those in the other lists although there are differences as you'll see if you look these lists over and read the supporting information from Cat Crave. I am NOT going to copy/paste all of that here. If you want to read the analysis information and note the players, you can follow the link.
(3) CSR (Cat Scratch Reader): https://www.catscratchreader.com/2025/4/26/24418168/nfl-draft-2025-carolina-panthers-undrafted-free-agent-tracker
CSR has a longer list than the others. -- Their information shows 14 UDFAs as shown here.

(5) CAT CRAVE: https://catcrave.com/panthers-tug-on-fans-heartstrings-with-nostalgic-undrafted-free-agent-coup
This is a late addition to the Cat Crave information. It makes for interesting reading. According to Cat Crave, who are apparently quoting Mike Garafolo .....
The Panthers have apparently "signed" Muhsin Muhammed III (Moose Junior..??) -- This would be a real heart-warming moment for Moose and his family as well as Panther fans everywhere.
RE: UNDRAFTED FREE AGENTS SIGNINGS - Firstchance - 04-27-2025
Read in several places that George was over $200k guaranteed. I said wow.
I really like Fitzgerald, he might earn a spot and save us a couple bucks. And believe it or not Garbers, watched him play a couple games last year and he had no support around him….maybe a little inside info from former Panther DeShaun Foster.
I actually think the draft was decent. I am surprised that we need help at defense that we went WR at 8, on. A guy I don’t see being a superstar but I hope I am wrong. We keep talking run first and we went WR?? Defense stunk but we went WR??
I am excited about Scourton. He has a little attitude to his game and can be a starter from day one. (I love watching Mike Elko’s defense)….
Nice gesture signing Moose’s kid but don’t expect anything, the kid is not all that good. But; still a nice gesture.
RE: UNDRAFTED FREE AGENTS SIGNINGS - PantherFan007 - 04-27-2025
It's back to what I was saying about Jalon Walker the other day. There were so many saying that, at #8, he just wasn't "that fit". He would have been a project, not an immediate starter. McMillon will start right away, and yes, I do believe he'll be a star if not superstar. McMillon is an Alpha Male and has already made a bond with Bryce Young before the draft. They have practiced together and trained together. Bryce was the one who begged the Panthers to draft McMillon.
