This is just a bunch of noise.
No decisions have been made and won't be for another month (approx..). Fans are voting right now. Fan vote continues through the middle of the month, somewhere around the 15th. After that the Coaches vote & the Players vote. Each segment -- Fans, Coaches, and Players make up 1/3 of the total vote. After all segments are complete, the 88 players who have received consensus vote are named -- 44 from the NFC and 44 from the AFC. This happens around the close of the month... generally the last week of the year, before New Years.
Interestingly, the Pro Bowl Games have been moved to Super Bowl week this year. Also to note: Players who are in the Super Bowl usually sit out the Pro Bowl because of the conflict. That's one of the main reasons "alternates" are selected. Well, that and injuries of course.
We'll see if any Panthers get selected to the 1st team. Probably should, especially DB and probably Jaycee. TMac has a legitimate claim to the OROY possibly -- Pro Bowl Games.?? Uhh... that's not a given. There are a LOT of VERY high caliber WRs in this league. I suspect if he makes it at all, it'll be as a 'reserve' selection.

I haven't given much credence to the Pro Bowl for the past ten years or so, ever since they made it pretty much a glorified flag football game.

There are not many players in the entire league who start… and now days don’t “make” the pro bowl. So many take it and then say they are not participating so the grant another and another and another. It’s is a complete joke.
