OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - PANTHERS @ FALCONS - PantherFan007 - 10-11-2020 GO PANTHERS! The Falcons have quickly become my most disliked team in the NFC South. I hope we help them continue their perfect losing streak! RE: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - PANTHERS @ FALCONS - Josh21 - 10-11-2020 Go fellas! RE: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - PANTHERS @ FALCONS - PantherFan007 - 10-11-2020 Watching the Fox Pre-Game, and it has been all about the Dirty Birds and how they "must win" or their HC is out the door. GO PANTHERS!! RE: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - PANTHERS @ FALCONS - coffee - 10-11-2020 I love how smart our team has been playing. Bridgewater uses the clock wonderfully. Davis was awesome at staying in bounds on that run in the 4th quarter. They've made very wise use of timeouts instead of all the wasted ones we used to have every game. Okung was savvy enough to hold a tripping Samuel up for an extra five yards. Last week, the players casually strolling onto the field forcing the bad guys to use a timeout. RE: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - PANTHERS @ FALCONS - Josh21 - 10-11-2020 I concur. We are talented, and well coached. Weird. RE: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - PANTHERS @ FALCONS - coffee - 10-12-2020 Well, it suddenly is back to feeling like football to me. I know the winning streak is the biggest part of that and it will only last so long, but I am starting to feel that this is our team. My cautious optimism has me to the point that I'm now going to root for a winning record (en route to finally getting back-to-back winning seasons next year). The way the NFC is going, 9-7 may get us into the playoffs, but I'm still going to wait on that dream for a while. I'm starting to thaw out just a little as well, albeit continued cautiously optimistic. RE: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - PANTHERS @ FALCONS - coffee - 10-14-2020 Sports radio was talking about the Saints game. In the process of the discussion, they spoke of how Brees was playing. One said (paraphrased): 'I predicted the NFC South to be really good this year with Ryan, Brees, Bridgewater & Brady. But, of the four, which QB is playing the best?' The question was asked in such a way as to say there is only one correct and obvious answer. The other guy said, 'Yeah, Bridgewater is playing much better than any of the others.' It was supposed to be a discussion about the Saints come-from-behind win but turned into how shocking it is that the Panthers look like the best team with the best QB in the division right now. RE: OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - PANTHERS @ FALCONS - PantherFan007 - 10-15-2020 I was underwhelmed when we signed Teddy, particularly because I knew very little about him. I was aware he had a good outing with the Saints last season. But, since game one, he has surprised me and made me a fan. He is a much better overall quarterback than any we have had in the last several years, bar none. |
