Bye Week Bliss - coffee - 10-06-2026 Just wanted to say, having a win before the bye is one of the best gifts our team can give us. It makes such a difference in my 'behind the scenes,' 'under the surface' mood. After losses, I don't even like football for a few days. Now, I get to enjoy the other games while we wait for our next game. Plus, I've got a great game recorded that I'll enjoy rewatching while I wait. And we were NOT expected to win that one.!! But make no mistake.... There are quite a few spots on both sides of the ball where we are really hurting. AND we have a LOT of tough opponents coming up.
RE: Bye Week Bliss - BlackCatzFan - 10-06-2026 Not a bad sentiment. I for sure didn’t expect us to win that game. Bryce is proving me wrong, and I’m happy for it. Not crowing the kid yet, but thinking about jumping on the bandwagon, I dont dislike the kid, I just want a solid QB. RE: Bye Week Bliss - PantherFan007 - 10-07-2026 It was a great game, and what a game to enjoy for two weeks instead of one RE: Bye Week Bliss - OceanPanther - 10-12-2026 And the good news this Monday morning is the Saints and Falcons both lost , while the rascally Bucs beat the cowboys. We always like to see the cowboys lose, but an 0-5 Bucs team would be just as fun . The PhleeGulls lost to the Jags in a total calamity. RE: Bye Week Bliss - coffee - 10-12-2026 I kinda wonder what Bucs fans are gonna say when they start thinking "We can win a game with our backup QB, but not with our starter?" Plus, I really like all our division foes being in purgatory, so I want them to win enough to not be able to fix it in the draft. Normally, I'd want the Eagles to have won this week so they might have the same weekly up and down that we do and be down facing us. As it happened, not sure I could ask for a more deflated team. State of our division: Prior to the season, the Bucs seemed to be already crowned by the media. Two weeks ago, that had switched to the Saints. Last week, it was the Falcons with the dominant return of their savior QB. As it stands at the moment, how crazy that the little guy, Bryce is (1) leading the NFL in yards and (2) appears to be the most durable QB in our division. Yes, I know, he's not currently #1 because of the bye. After tonight, he'll probably be #9 on that list. But ask yourself: At the start of the season, wouldn't you have been thrilled if you knew he'd be in the top 10? How amazing that he's only that LOW because of the bye! If we can put together a good game next week, I think the media may have no choice but begrudgingly give us our time. Our blacked out uniforms are awesome! I also want to give credit to the Packers. I don't know what you thought of their uniforms this week but I feel they have TWO of the best alternate uniforms with this week's, and (even better) the leather helmet look from last year. The scary thing about the Bucs game is that they have a rookie quarterback and that kid is phenomenal. And the good news is they just signed Baker to a 3 year 165 million deal with 120 million guaranteed. Got to love it for the Buccos.
