A NAME I KEEP HEARING FROM MATT RHULE..... - PantherFan007 - 08-09-2021
Over the past week, especially during Fanfest and over the weekend, and then again in today's press conference, Coach Rhule seems to have taken serious notice of Rookie Wide Receiver C.J. Saunders seems to talk continuosly about him "making plays".
I saw Saunders during Fanfest and thought he looked like a veteran WR catching the ball. Honestly, I have never heard of him or at least haven't heard much about him, but obviously, Ohio State players and fans have heard of him and considered him to be their "secret weapon".
Wonder if he can continue that trend here? I'm pulling for him to make the 53 man roster, but we are stacked at WR already. He was a walk-on at Ohio State and ended up as Team Captain, so he is used to being the underdog. We went undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft, so yeah, pulling for him to make our roster.

He has stepped out. Look forward to him n a few others stepping up during games. We carry 6 or 7 wr this year? We got plenty of young promise there. Smith, bay less, cj, zylstra. Those are 5-8 right now. Wow.
Watched the film there. Seems like a good kid. Can he st? Gonna count for wr, db, lb, n line. Big for last few spots.
We know the big guys who’ll make it. Hartsfield is listed at db. Cannon is on the wr depth chart. Who makes it as what? Could b a gunner, blocker, returner, personal protector that makes it. LOVE this time of year! Puzzles all around! Who can st at a high level, n then compete on o/d. Ultimate team sport.
