Another restructure is heading up the news a few days before Free Agency starts. The Panthers and Pat Elflein have agreed to a restructure of his contract. This is the third restructure the Panthers have done in the past week or so.
The latest indication shows about 4.8 Mil moved to a Signing Bonus. This has the net effect of saving about 2.5 Mil under the cap for this year. Elflein is expected (by SOME visionaries..) to start the new season as the #1 Center on the team. I am not TOO certain about that, but a LOT will depend on what Paradis does in Free Agency. We also have Tecklenburg who plays Center as well.
