Seems like everyone wants to know..... Did he or Didn't he...?? Well, only his hairdresser knows for sure. (With apologies to Clairol hair color..).
When asked about the season opener against the Browns being a 'grudge match', Mayfield was supposed to have said, or mumbled, something to the effect of I'm gonna "_____ the Browns up." Or words to that effect. So the question has been asked... "Did he, or Didn't he..." Well, I'm not certain that it really matters, and like with Miss Clairol, only one person knows for sure. Still, the mantra has now become a "thing." It doesn't matter if he 'really' said something like that or not. What matters, at least to Baker, is the opportunity to 'make hay', to 'deliver' on a suspected promise even if it wasn't one. The opportunity to capitalize on a 'sound bite' and put himself in the center of the conversation was too much for Baker to pass up.
So.... He didn't pass it up. Nope, sure didn't. Here is Baker capitalizing on the moment. Take a minute and revel in the sure and certain 'Baker Mayfield'.. Click; Read and 'Enjoy' ... ??

Yeah, seems like the conversation was about all the games this year and just blown out of proportion. This, of course, is shocking that the press would run too far with something.
Whatever the case, I won't be upset to be on the winning side of a "blood and guts" revenge game.

I’m more concerned where Baker will be living! Hopefully he has “progressed” to at least an apartment.
