TEPPER CONFERENCE --- ON RHULE - Hobbit99 - 10-10-2022 Here is the presser where Tepper talks about Rhule's firing. The first 12+ min are blank (approx). Slide the bar forward to about 12 min 30 sec or so... RE: TEPPER CONFERENCE --- ON RHULE - PantherFan007 - 10-10-2022 I watched it live this afternoon. Tepper is not built for press conferences. lol RE: TEPPER CONFERENCE --- ON RHULE - Josh21 - 10-10-2022 Yup, c other post RE: TEPPER CONFERENCE --- ON RHULE - Hobbit99 - 10-10-2022 (10-10-2022, 07:15 PM)PantherFan007 Wrote: I watched it live this afternoon. He is having to confront a bunch of non-thinking weasels here and now. Anything for a soundbite. Bunch of 'talking-heads' looking for a "quote" to exploit. He didn't look very good here today because it was an unpleasant task. You could tell he didn't really want to talk about it. Can't blame him for that I guess. Still, he did it and didn't take a bunch of crap either. I think it was Scott Fowler there at the end, who Tepper basically shut down. Told him to "read his own column for the answers.." Have to admit.... I laughed about that. Fowler got a taste of bitter-tasting medicine. Tepper is NOT a pushover.!! RE: TEPPER CONFERENCE --- ON RHULE - Josh21 - 10-10-2022 Yup. I sort of wish he (Tepper..) would address that situation. Doesn't have to be about Rock Hill, so much..... More about the Panthers and a team headquarters, as well as a "practice facility". Sort of a place to "cloister" the team together for 'off-season' stuff and 'training camp'. Since Tepper started the process and 'simmered' the idea, then announced it to great fanfare..... Would like to hear about a "solution"..... if there is one. |
