The Panthers are signing (reportedly..) a young 3rd year DT John Penisini. Penisini was drafted by the Lions in 2020 and played for two years before he elected to "retire". In two years, Penisini played in all 32 games, started 12. He had 1 sack, 49 Tackles, 1 Fumble Recovery, and 1 Pass Defensed. He also managed 4 TFLs.
There MUST be A "story" here somewhere. 3rd year player retiring..?? It will come out........sometime.??
