Carolina drafted him pretty high (not 1st round - I don't think..), back in 2009, 10,11 - sometime back there. Lasted a few years here, went somewhere else, lasted a few years...Finally disappeared from the NFL scene.

I'm trying to remain objective here.... But, let me just say, for the benefit of anyone who doesn't know or has a short memory..... In the 28 years the Panthers have been in existence, I've been through them all. I have one of the "coins" handed out at the very first Panthers home game in B of A. I've suffered through ALL of the Panthers ignominious "ups and downs". I am NOT a fair-weather friend.
So, let me just say this: Yes, the Panthers are in a bit of a slump right now. Yes, Tepper's reign here has been less than "magical". But remember this... In 28 years, the Panthers have had a lot of
BAD,
BAD teams.!! And as much as Tepper has, for the most part, been a real PITA, I would
NOT want JR back for ANY reason.
