The Panthers have waived CB Tariq Castro-Fields This, along with Shaq's injury opened up two spots on the roster. To fill those spots, the Panthers have signed former 1st round #22 overall CB, Caleb Farley. The Panthers also signed LB Chandler Wooten to the 53 from the Practice Squad.

Farley was drafted in 2021 by the Titans where he was largely undistinguished due to injuries.

Man, if Caleb Farley can stay healthy (and I am not sure if he can), he was a baller in college.

If he could stay healthy, he might be better than Jaycee Horn.  Just saying.  Here are some of his highlights for anyone not familiar with him:

Caleb was the kid whose father was killed in a house explosion in Mooresville.

YES... Farley is a GOOD pick-up. As long as he can stay healthy. Which, incidentally, he has NOT been able to do so far. Remind you of anyone..?? His career parallels Jaycee Horn. Neither one of them have played much at all. I still like the pick-up though. If for no other reason than his tremendous UPside.  Fingers crossed -- maybe he will settle in and have a long and productive career here.
