Well, I don’t know what to say…..

I thought if I waited a few hours something printable would come to me. Sadly, I’m still just as confused and frustrated now as I was earlier. 

Once again, BY has reverted to type and turned a game into a turnover challenge to see who can get the most. AND HE WON..!!!

And the Defense —- SMDH. Jaycee Horn is all the talk. A MAGNIFICENT one-hand grab after a sky-high leap that saved a touchdown. Amazing. I would have bet that he could not get to that ball.  But, still have to ask the question — WHY was it necessary to reenact “The Miracle on 34th Street” ???  Why was that rookie receiver sooo wide open.??? If Horn doesn’t pull off a Harry Houdini, that play goes for a TD. Gotta straighten out that Defense. 

Oh…. and we still need a QB.

It’s time Panthers fans except reality and start demanding change. To quit relying on false hopes and thinking every move we make is positive. The facts are, we were soundly defeated by a not so good, bottom of the pack Jacksonville team… let’s face it they suck and we got killed. Bryce is the worst starting QB in the league, we set our franchise back 7 plus years. We have an inexperienced GM who I lived as a player but has done a horrible job in acquiring the talent we need…our defense stinks because we simply don’t have the right personnel. These Mickey Mouse trades he has done in the draft is just laughable. He gave away Burns. Canales and his approach is NOT made for the NFL, he probably took the team out to Chuck E Cheese last night and told them he was proud of their effort. 

I am a panthers fan through and through… at one time I had 12 psl’s. But, I am not afraid to discuss the reality, the pain…what needs to be done to turn this ship around. Right now we lack in three phases of the game, offense, defense and special teams…four if you count coaches and five if you count ownership.

My opinion.

We , apparently, aren’t close . Another game ( year ) where our offense can’t score. Another year where our defense has a good chance of being in the bottom 5 in the NFL. On both sides of the ball , we continue to make self inflicted mistakes . I don’t think you need examples of these.

For some reason, the organization and media try to pump us up for the upcoming season. “We’ll be better against the run “ blah blah blah. “ Look at all the new personnel “. Yet we still don’t have a linebacker that can sniff out a play, be helpful in a pass rush, get off a block to stuff the run. “ The wide receiver room , we have so many good ones, who are we going to cut “ BS , our current WR aren’t average . I can’t remember how many passes. 50/50 balls , balls hitting receivers hands but aren’t caught .
As for QB , I hope Henden Hooker has a faster recovery from ACL than is expected. That silly comment tell you where I think our “ QB room “ is ..
Coaching,, omg , how unimaginative can this coach and offensive coordinator be ?? Last year, they brought in Andy Dalton for a game ( due to our starter not preforming well ) and he goes off for 300 plus yards . Yet if our starter passes for 200 we think he’s had a good day . The inability to change the play at the line , like Dalton did , to a better play seems impossible.

Yesterday was a must win game and it wasn’t close.
Next week against Arizona IS ANOTHER MUST WIN GAME .

We as fans like to point to the last 5-7 games of last season to convince ourselves we had improved. But if the season was already lost, was it really improvement ? If you can’t play well when it counts it not a lot of improvement to me

Oh, we’re all still Carolina Panthers.  It’s our team, not theirs, we’ll be here when they’ve all gone. 
We are all just frustrated, especially after not seeing anything different from the losing team of last season, and the season before that one etc etc

Oh no!  Go to the Minute Clinic and let them write you a prescription for whatever that covid medicine is.  It helped my wife and me last year when we came down with it.

I drug my diseased ass to my PCP yesterday morning.  Had a timely appt for a hospital; follow up...lol He tested me and called in the script.  So far I am only grumpier.  Watch out telemarketers.!
