THE PANTHERS SHUFFLE - DUMP 3RD QB - NONE ON PS

The latest word on the street says:

The Panthers have (apparently) decided they don't need a 3rd QB. After releasing Hendon Hooker last week, they decided to dump QB Mike White as well. This really surprises me. With BY one snap away from an injury at any time, and the Red Rifle with a sore hand (YES, I know he's supposed to be OK ... But---). The question is, what happens when one of them goes down?? 

We really need a 3rd QB --- IMO.

It as if the QB position is not all that important to them.

Whew .. ok . I have been put at ease . I had this dream last night. We were losing to the Saints 35 -0 in the first qtr. We had brought in Hooker , and he’d completed a pass to a TE out in the flat .. We were wearing black uniforms.
So Hooker is gone and I don’t have to worry about being down 35 points in the 1st quarter.

I had not heard that they released Hendon Hooker, but according to the Detroit newspapers (and the Lions message board), the Panthers did release him. It is surprising that they are satisfied going with only two quarterbacks, but I would bet they either re-sign Mike White or another veteran quarterback by the middle of next week. I don't think the Panthers front office is stupid enough to think that having only Bryce Young and Andy Dalton, given both of their injuries, is good enough.

Yep....would think that someone (at this time in the season someone we know) is going to be added to the PS.
