Although Rhule says definitely "No" to the Browns, he is (apparently...) still talking to the Panthers and the Giants.  His current line says he "is happy" where he is (Baylor..). And as of now "intends to stay there".

Still..... His name continues to show up on NFL coaching prospects lists. Rhule is in the middle of college 'Bowl season' and wants to stay focused and keep his team focused for now.  He has reportedly told his team that he will listen to NFL offers......

I (for none...) think Matt Rhule would make a terrific coach for the Panthers.  A little fiery, a little old school.  What's not to like.??

None....as far as I know.

HIGHLY regarded college coach. Seems to be a consensus choice for a jump to the NFL. I've watched a lot of his interviews on TV.  Smart. Straight up guy. Not afraid to tell it like it is. Tough. Doesn't take any crap.
I like him.  Lots of talk going on right now about teams that are interested. Lots of 'talking heads' predicting he'll jump (to the right team...).

I have never been one keen on college coaches taking NFL head coaching jobs, I think they need a little seasoning. I do believe I heard that Rhule spent one year with the Giants as an OL assist. The one thing I like about Rhule is that he does have experience on both sides of the ball. I still expect and NFL assist to be hire...McDaniels is my guess.

McDaniels would not be my choice.  I too am concerned because of his apparent lack of commitment. Dedication and commitment to a team and strength of your word, bond, truthfulness all seem to be a little in question (maybe..??).  I don't know.... Given the current options, I would say........

I am with you on that. The number one problem with transitioning from coaching College Football to coaching in the NFL, as Steve Spurrier explained it in an interview several years ago, is that College players are hungry, they are eager.  The do what you tell them when you tell them.  Not so in the NFL.  NFL players become Diva's who are all too happy to tell you to "F-Off, talk to my Agent", and "I don't get paid to do all that".  That's why Spurrier went back coaching college ball.

It's tough to go from one stage to another.  It's a completely different culture.

Well... Have to remember though,

Coaches, like players, are not born to it. They are developed, and sometimes it takes a little time. When you find one, like Rhule maybe.?, you can be light years ahead of 'guessing' about a position coach or coordinator who may not have the will or desire to really make a statement as a Head Coach.
Admittedly, I don't know what is going to happen. But I LIKE Rhule as a coach. He's young enough to buy in to the data delivery and stats and analytics that Tepper seems to want, while still having the "old school" attitude and 'fire' that makes a coach good and effective.
IF he makes the jump to the NFL, he will be a good one.

That's the view from here.!!
