SPECIAL TEAMS--BEHIND THE SCENE LOOK -- READ THIS.!!

Recently, team lead reporter, Darin Gantt, penned an article about Special Teams players and the adversity and the coaching. You guys NEED to take a few minutes and read this. It 'says' a lot and it 'explains' a lot. I thought I understood how things worked during roster-building time. Boy was I wrong.!! Building a roster and core ST guys is an amazingly complex procedure. So many things happen during the year, and they all have to be considered. The ST guys have to be designed as a 'core', and then kept in a constant state of flux as the season unwinds.

Coaching and planning in the NFL is done at a very high level, and these guys (for the most part) earn their respective jobs. I have a lot of respect for Chris Tabor and the work he does. Talk about earning every penny they pay you, he's that guy.
