WEEK 11 INJURY REPORT - WEDNESDAY ------> FRIDAY

Week 11 starts off with nine players on the Injury Report. Of the nine, six were listed as DNP (Did Not Practice). The remaining three showed as LP (Limited..). Once again, Juston Burris was a DNP, although this time he was shown as "Illness" instead of concussion, which seems to be a much better diagnosis to me. Looking at the report as a whole, the Defense is most affected this week with three DBs on the report along with two DTs and one LB. So six Defensive guys and three Offense....

THURSDAY REPORT....

Thursday saw Frankie Luvu return to full practice along with Gio Ricci and JayCee Horn. Taylor Moton slipped back to 'Did Not Practice' although it was not a health issue, just a vet rest day. Everyone else pretty much stayed the same with the exception of Marquan McCall who is a new addition to the report today. McCall was held out because of "Illness".  Lots of that "Illness" stuff going around.....

FRIDAY REPORT...

The Panthers are starting to see a few more casualties among the starting lineup. Once again Juston Burris is OUT with his concussion. This is starting to be a regular 'thing' for him as he struggles to get well. I had no idea his concussion was as bad as it apparently is. It is unfortunate for him.... and for the Panthers who were relying on him in the Defensive backfield.  PJ Walker is OUT as expected with his ankle. Sam Darnold will fill the role behind Mayfield this week. Also, Matt Ioannidis is OUT this week. He has played a yeoman's part along the D-Line this year. Hopefully it will be only a one-time thing.

Well.... A little good news for a change.

The Panthers have announced today (Saturday..) that they have activated Jeremy Chinn back to the 53.  There was no corresponding move away from the 53 because of Donte Jackson's move to IR a few days back.

In addition, the Panthers have re-signed (again..) Joel Iyiegbuniwe to the 53. To make room for him they waived LB Arron Mosby.
