In a not so close poll among five sports broadcast teams with 36 different voices, it was almost unanimous. They Panthers are going to lose, so sayeth the prognosticators who we all know have incredible insight into things like this.

USA Today;  NFL.com;  ESPN;  CBS Sports;  Pro Football Talk --- All pick the Falcons to win. There were 36 individual votes and 34 of them were for the Falcons.

34-2, dang…

I honestly don’t see any different outcome based on what we showed in the preseason. Our O couldn’t move a ball against 2’s, DJ Chark has more injuries than receptions in his career. Our receivers aren’t getting open. Our O line is a sieve. Unless they were just showing some kind of “pretend” I don’t expect us to fare very well. I would LOVE to be proven wrong, I just have no warm fuzzies about this game. We aren’t there yet. Too many new pieces to the puzzle without enough looks to see which pieces fit.

35-2. We score late to make the final 21-18 dirty birds. Bryce goes 16 for 39, 243 yards. Miles rushes for 78.
