GREG OLSEN - RESPONDS TO HC QUERY - FOLLOWING THE STORY

I really thought that the Greg Olsen "thing" (referring to the Panthers HC job...) was a bit of a smokescreen. More "clickbait" so to speak. Well, that whole storyline has developed some legs. So, in an attempt to push through some of the "smoke and mirrors", several agitators have made it their job to corner Olsen in print and "on the air."

Because this has the potential to generate a LOT of interest with Panther fans, I thought I would start a "following the story" thread here on the forum.

Greg is a very smart guy.  He once said that the TE has to know/understand what everyone else on the field is doing every play.  He was good at it and will probably be good at anything he decides to do.

Tepper could see hiring Greg as a way to get the fanbase back.

AGREED.....

Greg Olsen would probably be a very good HC.  He has a football mindset and a very cerebral way of thinking about issues. His time spent in TV broadcasting would definitely help his rapid growth as a Coach. If he had a solid group of sub-coaches, I could see him taking the team to the playoffs in a year or two.  He has the mind and the temperament....
