I even liked this pick.  After watching his interview, I like it better:

Also watched some highlights and it will be interesting to see how we use him.  He's mostly lined up at nose here but I wonder if/how he would line up in a 4-3 package?  Or would he only come in on rotation/special packages?

He is fast, and most of the time teams have two guys on him sometimes 3.  At the very least, it is some much needed depth at DT.

Yup. I think rotational depth. Still a great late pick. Hopefully Kyle love comp.

I love Kyle love. Loved cockrell too. Might need em back. D looks better. Not fixed. Few touch ups needed.

LOL...Rhule mentioned that he was seeing his former players get drafted. It made him happy...He was pleased to see them succeed.

Would be interesting for someone to do some background work and get a count of players and staff with former ties to Rhule.! We could set up a little game..!!!

Nah... someone would look up the answers.!!

Did anyone read the article about the "Positionless Draft"? Rhule was looking for hybrid players that he can plug and play in multiple positions, and I believe every pick is capable of that.

Yeah... It HAS been different this year. This draft has been more about "Football Players" than specific positions. Rhule has commented several times about looking for players..... something like: "There are guys want to be football players---Then there are guys who love to play football.." Words to that effect anyway... Rhule wants the latter..."players who want to play football."
