Well....straight out of the gate, the Panthers have announced their "Active" PUP list. Initially, there are two players on the list. LB Shaq Thompson, and CB JayCee Horn. Both players are present in camp and are working through limited activities. Shaq had a minor procedure done to a knee to "clean up" some tissue..... Nothing torn or tweaked in any way (according to official word..). JayCee broke his foot last year and was experiencing some soreness after OTAs and the first day of conditioning.
Both players are expected to resume full practice at some point and are expected to be ready for Week 1. Shaq has been doing some "role-playing" as an "assistant coach" according to Rhule, and will continue helping like that as he works out the soreness.
