Well, the word is out on uniform choices for this year. Some of the options are dictated by the NFL and the "Home Team Rule", but I have to believe the players have some say in a lot of these choices.
Last year we had nine "AWAY" games and eight "HOME" games. This year we have nine "HOME" games and eight "AWAY" games. For all "HOME" games we get to pick uniforms....UNLESS it's a 'special' week designated by the NFL for a specific purpose. For example, like a "Color Rush" week, or a "Throwback" week. Special rules apply for those weeks. OTHERWISE.....
So, for seventeen weeks (seventeen games..) the Panthers have 'opted' to play in WHITE jerseys twelve (12..) times.!! They will play in BLACK jerseys four (4.) times and ONCE in BLUE Jerseys. (NOT counting PRE-season games..). Helmet colors MAY follow jersey colors, OR they might be a contrasting color. Uniform pants will be decided closer to the actual game week.
In any event, the Panthers will wear WHITE for the first NINE consecutive weeks.!!! Then for the next eight weeks they will wear white three more times, black four times, and blue once. ***This seems VERY strange to me***
