Lol. Neither do I. However, he was smooth as silk and on target in all the on the field drills. Of course he didn’t have someone in his face but none of them did. Who knows maybe I just like Cinderella stories or pull for the underdog.

Bagent led Martinsburg High School to two West Virginia state titles, throwing for 7,800 yards and 112 touchdowns during his career. He signed with Shepherd and won the starting job right away, earning first-team All-Mountain East Conference recognition (253-387-65.4, 3,029 yards, 29 TD, 13 INT in 10 starts). The Rams changed conferences in 2019 but Bagent was again honored with second-team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East accolades after leading all Division II quarterbacks with 362.4 pass yards per game, ranking fourth with a 71 completion percentage (343-of-483) and fifth with 36 passing touchdowns against 13 INTs. Shepherd did not play in the fall of 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns and Bagent started the team's only spring contest in 2021 (13-19-68.4, 76, INT). He had an incredible season the following fall, winning the Harlon Hill Trophy as Division II's top player by leading the country with 5,000 passing yards, 53 passing touchdowns and ranking fourth in compeltion percentage (67.5) in 14 starts. The PSAC East Offensive Player of the Year threw 13 interceptions in 2021, the third time he hit that number in his career, before tossing just eight in 2022. Bagent led Division II in completions (400) and ranked second in passing yards (4,580), completion percentage (69.9) and passing touchdowns (41) while leading his team to the playoffs. The 2022 first-team Associated Press All-American and PSAC East Offensive Player of the Year set an NCAA all-time record 159 pass TDs for his career. Overview
Highly decorated and highly confident Division II quarterback with adequate NFL size but mechanical issues that need to be cleaned up. Bagent’s footwork can become erratic under pressure and his delivery is reminiscent of a shortstop’s throw to first base at times. He plays with a good feel for his offensive design and a willingness to attack all intermediate pockets of the field regardless of cover scheme. However, the decision-making and arm strength might not be good enough to beat the window-shopping defensive backs of the NFL.
