I know it is early and things can and do change but I can’t turn around and hear anything but Jimmy Horn. 3rd team WR and zero mention on special teams as a returner.

And Jaycee Hirn gets hurt AGAIN before the first preseason game. Traffic accident and all should be well … it was just ironic.

I believe Jimmy Horn, Jr is going to rise up the depth chart quickly and will see a lot of play come November and December.

Jaycee is fine.  No real injury other than getting held up to get to work and getting checked out.  He was back on the field with the team later that afternoon.

Jaycee actually got a “few” stitches in his left thumb and is considered day to day. I have no idea how many a few is? I’m not expecting him to play tomorrow but I also don’t think it is a big deal. It’s just rather humorous as much as he seems to get hurt.

As long as he is good to go for the first game that counts I am not worried.

HC Canales spoke about this several times. Jaycee Horn will NOT play tomorrow. Ruled out for "now". HOPEFULLY will be available for next week in Houston, according to Canales. --- We'll see. Everything depends on "how bad", "how deep", "tendons, nerves" and his ability to repair himself. Even seemingly 'small' cuts and injuries can be severe enough to miss several weeks. Especially around the hands and thumbs -- opposable digits, ability to grip, etc., etc...

Fingers crossed.

It isn't like Jaycee won't be a starter on day one, and it never hurts to let him sit for whatever reason.
