I just can't figure out what is happening around the team.....
My feeling is that THIS has something to do with Cam..... Olsen and Cam were tight. And they both relied on each other. No other explanation that I can think off...???

Greg is just too old to play for this coach!
Seriously, I thought he would retire and go to the booth anyways.... and I still figure the booth part.
As I said earlier, a 5 to 6 year rebuild. Trade Cam and also trade CMC, he will never be worth more than he is right now... we will still be rebuilding when his contract is over so make the most of it.... and through Eric Reid in there too, karma..

You know, I hate this happened, but I too thought he was going to announce his retirement. He has been teasing about taking a booth announcing job since we went to the Super Bowl. Maybe they were ready for him to announce his retirement, but he wanted to play another year. Either way, Thanks Greg, you were one of my favorite Panthers ever.
Yup. Thanks Greg. Have fun in the booth.
Full rebuild mode. See cam getting traded/cut. We have few impact players.
If we trade CMC for anything but 2 1st rounders I'd b mad as he!!.
Cam a first n second at least.
Those are our big players, by far.
Cam a first n second at least.
What else do we have?

Here is my scenario.
Cam is traded to the Bears...who have no first round pick in 2020...so we get their 2nd round pick ( #43 not number 50) in 2020.
If Cam starts more than 8 games in 2020 we get their 2021 1 st round pick, less than 8 games we get their 2nd round pick.
If Cam resigns with the Bears we get their 2022 first round pick, if not resigned, we get their their 5th round pick.
Personally I think this is a win win for both teams...get us something of good value on player going into his last year on what is strictly a rebuild not to mention that a $19 million deal on a starter is not a bad deal for any NFL club and it protects the Bears to some degree if Cam can't stay healthy.
CMC, I am still thinking about. Absolutely hate to see him go BUT he again is of his most value right this minute and frankly he deserves to play for a contender, IMO. But I think I want him in the AFC.
My first scenario for CMC.
Trade partner would be the LA Chargers. We get Hunter Henry, this year's #1 ( which is #6 ), and this year's #4 ( which is #112...I think they also have #120 or something like that ), the 2021 #2 expected to be #41 and the 2022 #2 which is expected to be #40.
This works, if you trade Cam and feel as though Herbert is your guy.
Woe woe wooooooe, peoples, y'all don't just come down here talking about trading CMC and such......
