Just an observation. The colts and the texans neither had their coach or gm at the Stroud pro day.

I don't find it odd at all. The majority of fortune tellers have the Panthers selecting CJ Stroud, so maybe they are saving their travelling money for trips to Disney World lol Tongue

Colts and the Texans head coaches didn’t attend Bryce Young’s either. Not sure if their GM’s in fact only 7 head coaches and 10 GM’s showed but I can’t find which 10 teams.

Only 3 head coaches and GMs at Levis’s. Panthers Seahawks and Titans had both to attend. And some reports of him falling to the bottom third of the first round.

I wonder what all this really means..??  Could these teams just be relying on tape and Combine measurables along with the available video stuff coming out of the Pro Days.  Do they already know what their draft order (pick position..) is and are not considering trading up..?? Do they think three QBs are off the board in the top five.??

If that's the case, and they're picking at #7, 8, 9..??  Why bother with sending a full complement to the Pro Day.??  Wasted Effort..???

Also, I remember very well what happened last year with Kenny Pickett, Malik Willis, Desmond Ritter, Matt Corral et al.... As the draft got closer, the QBs started slipping. Pickett, supposedly the most "ready", fell back to #20. NO other QB selected until Desmond Ritter at #74, followed by Malik Willis at #86, and Matt Corral at #94.

Of those four QBs, Desmond Ritter was arguably the best QB (Stats-wise). Highest QB rating, best completion percentage, etc.. Kenny Pickett played quite a few snaps but his total stat line wasn't the greatest. Malik Willis, the "ONE" everybody was preaching, played in six games or so with a very hit or miss result. and Matt Corral was out injured for the season.  The jury is still out on these guys, but...,???  Pittsburgh is supposedly pretty "high" on Pickett, and Atlanta is apparently solid on Desmond Ritter.  Time will tell...

I just think that the appearance, or NON-appearance of select coaches, GMs, etc. may mean very little.  OR, it could mean that those teams recognize the reality of picking at their position.
Huh

Wow, we got a quandary. Floor, ceiling, potential, readiness, traits , size, intangibles, mobility, IQ, personality…. Who ya got? Wow, what a year to pick 1st. Better pick right. Know they are doing there work.

I said before, we gotta nail this pick period. With what we gave up we sure as hell better have an idea. Who knows who it is, but it better b right.
