It would be nice if things were that simple. Unfortunately, they're not. The Panthers have a LOT of "skin" invested in Bryce Young. They are going to do everything possible to assure that Young ends up starting. He will get EVERY opportunity to play while the other guys sit back and watch. They have already said during interviews, that Young WILL be the starter. They didn't give up DJ Moore and all the draft picks to sit Young on the bench. He will have EVERY opportunity out there. It's already starting. Press conferences have already said that Young is taking most of the snaps with the 1s. Dalton is getting a few, and I suspect that Corral is not getting any.
The Panthers have too much invested in this guy. Young will play, to the detriment of the other QBs.... and maybe to the team as well. If he does well, that's great.!! If not, just settle in for a LOT of excuses..... and he will still play.
And the worm turns....
