XL at the derby

Hate to be the downer on this but I am over this racoon stuff.  It was amusing at first,,,,,when it was mostly "in the family."  That, plus his accent just reinforces old stenotypes of poor southerners or Appalachian hillbillies.

That being said....The Derby must have been a real thrill for him.

Now let's focus on CATCHING THE DAM BALL!  ?

AGREED... I've stayed away from this. I have some concerns about Legette and none of them have to do with raccoons.

Example:  T-Mac has bonafides supposedly as a potential "#1" WR.  (I'll admit I have no idea exactly what that is ... or why??). Yet Legette has more vertical speed (fact). Now it appears that Legette has become a media darling and a "voice" and a "face" of the NFL. -- REALLY??  Way to ruin a player who has some potential.  What happens when Legette is so "famous" his play doesn't matter as much as his "rising star".?? Is he doomed to be an egoist in his youth, expecting fame and money to be thrown his way because folks think he talks funny and, you know, the league supports him.??

I think this current line of thinking and action is a real disservice to Legette ,  AND THE PANTHERS.! --- All of this promotion and ballyhoo could very easily RUIN a young, impressionable player.
