The state of medical care in the U.S. has really improved in the past 20 years. There have been a lot of advancements in care as well as protocols. I am really pleased that you are receiving quality care. I KNOW what being a 'guinea pig' is like. I went through a bunch of well-meaning, training hospitals in the military and was constantly surprised at the quality of care. Thank goodness we live in a country where high-quality medical care is the rule rather than the exception.
Please don't eat the candy, or drink any bad water --- otherwise do what the doctor tells you. Prayers for a quick and complete recovery.
Thanks Hobs. I am being a good girl...doing exacts as told. My life has changed...including my diet which was already weird. (Celiac and vegetarian) Not even an occasional drink of bourbon. Changes are easier when you know they are important.
