It looked like he was lost back there. While the O-Line was not really protecting him very long, he was not making good decisions - or ANY decisions - to advance the play. He made a few good throws and handoffs, but there were times that he looked like he had no idea where his receivers were.
Bryce needs to have confidence in knowledge, but he doesn't. He doesn't seem to know where his receivers are, or where they are supposed to be. He needs a much quicker release. He needs to learn anticipation (ie, throw the ball to where your receiver is expected to be and let HIM do his job). Don't wait to throw the ball until your receiver is out of position or until he is so far down the field that your arm strength can't get the ball to him.
All that, having been said, similar comments could be made for a bunch of players on the roster.
One bright spot is T-Mac. The kid looks like the real deal.
This is the 3rd year for Bryce. He may have flashes but is not a starting NFL QB. Great guy but we have to move on. Dan and Dave going to lose the team pretty soon.
I might be carbon dating myself, but Bryce's 3rd year reminds me of the book we read in high school, "Flowers for Algernon"
