You know the one.... That feeling where you need to fart but you're afraid it might be something else. That's how I felt after that last interception in the 4th quarter last night. I felt like I could simply just take a dump all over the stadium.
It took me a while to realize why I felt that way, and then it hit me; It was because that's pretty much what the team did during their one-time chance at Monday Night Football. Guess I was following their lead.
Defense played lights out. Special Teams did well.
Bryce. Oh yeah. Here we are again. Bryce. As good as he was (or were the Falcons just that bad???) last week, he looked equally BAD last night. He looked lost again. And did anyone see him throw the ball at the ground before it got to a receiver? Legette, maybe?
Bryce just looked pitiful, awful, terrible even.
Any other team who intercepted the opponent's quarterback three... what, four times? That "any other team" would have won the game and by double digits.
Not the Panthers. Did they ever get over 30 yards of total offense? (being sarcastic, folks)
I swear, go back and watch the game. It's not just me. Every single time the ball was snapped, Bryce looked like a little boy who had lost his mommy in a huge Walmart full of people. There was zero sense of urgency. Zero mobility other than maybe once or twice. And did he even have a clue where his receivers were?
I'm done with it. Sorry. He's a super nice kid with an award winning smile, but all that put together won't get you a cup of coffee at McD's. I have never in all my sixty-four years heard anyone talking about the NFL Draft saying, "He's got the best smile of any quarterback in this year's draft, and he is SUPER NICE!".
Nope.
