This kid is gonna make a LOT of folks hate themselves for not drafting him. I never saw much of his college games, but I have since watched a lot of his highlights. And, can I say that he had a highlight reel last night? I know it was only preseason, and I know it was only the Hall of Fame Game, and yada yada yada, but you can't fake arm strength, accuracy, and decision making. He was "King" of all three last night.
21 of 34 passes for 180 yards, two passing touchdowns, and added three rushes for 39 yards and a game-winning 5-yard rushing touchdown as time expired
In my opinion, he looked better than Kenny Pickett by a long shot.
And cudos to Carson Beck. The kid looks "as advertised". I think the Cardinals have their franchise quarterback.
