Cam may b smart, but he throws a poor football too often. Even on dump offs…--- YEP.!!
You know... PJ has done better than I thought he would. But really, lets think about it for a minute.....
He came out for the draft in 2017. thirty two (32..) teams passed him by for seven rounds.....UNdrafted.!! Signed as a UDFA with the Colts. Was ON and OFF the practice squad, released multiple times until late in 2019 when he signed into the XFL (Canadian..). Finally signed by the Panthers in March 2020. So... three and a half years later... after draft eligibility...PJ Walker had still NOT PLAYED A SINGLE SNAP in the NFL. His first snap in the NFL was in October 2020. SO...what does all this mean.?? What does this tell us.???
--1) Walker is Great.?? = Uhh, NO
--2) Walker has all the tools to be a franchise QB.?? = NO
--3) Thirty two teams all screwed up.?? = NO
--4) Panthers know something thirty one other teams don't know.?? = NO
--5) Panthers sign a "champagne' player on a "beer" pocketbook.?? = NO
So, what WAS the reason for this signing.??? Who the hell knows.?? I have NO freaking idea.!! That said, he's IS playing better than I thought he would.
