And he keeps putting the blame on every single person, particularly Cam.
Yeah, I know, "it is what it is", but it stinks.
007... I understand your rebellion. I feel the undercurrent running through your words.
However..... HOWEVER..... You and I must be listening to different people disguised as Coach Rhule !!! Rhule has NEVER had a really rough word for Cam. He has always held him up (much higher than he deserves..). Yeah, I know... I shouldn't say things like that. But the truth hurts. Or, as my grandpappy used to say, "put the damn shoe on and wear it.."
Here is the truth about Rhule and Cam. Sounds like page 1 out of the "mutual admiration society".
Rhule about Cam...
Panthers HC Matt Rhule throws blame at QB Cam Newton again (msn.com)
Just one guy's opinion... You can argue semantics all day, but what Rhule SAID was there was an error made. I DO NOT fault Rhule for talking truth. There have been altogether too many occasions where coaches, administrators, owners, etc., etc. throw out a bunch of hyperbole aimed at distracting the conversation from problem areas. Rhule has been "equal opportunity" in this regard. When a player has screwed up (or a coach..), Rhule says something like "...we can't have a play like that." or "...the fumble at the goal line was bad. You can't win making errors like that." or "...too many penalties on the..." or like with Burns last week.."...that penalty for (**whatever**) was a killer. It gave them an opportunity to..." "The personal foul penalty on *** gave them a first down and subsequently a touchdown..." or "...Too manu unforced errors..." -- The list goes on and on. Rhule does NOT pick on Cam. No more so than any other screw-up by any other player. The truth is, Rhule has talked so much "flowery" crap about Cam, you get the impression that he is God's gift to QBs.
