Luckily, most linemen don't get this type of injury too often. These are massive, strong, heavy, brutish guys. They aren't expected to move, jump, and cut like smaller, quicker position players. More sprains, strains, twists, impact injuries. All of which are certainly bad enough for a BIG guy, But thankfully, severe ligament tears are more the province of RBs, WRs, & DBs or LBs.
So, as Bond, James Bond (007) mentioned, when one of these injuries DOES occur, the repair is tougher and rehab will definitely be longer. I really want this guy back, but I too believe it will be around week 10 earliest (probably) before he gets back on the field. And YES, it MIGHT take the whole season.
