CJ STROUD ADDRESSES MEDIA CONCERNING HIS VERIFIED LOW S2 TESTS

When asked about his (now verified) LOW S2 Cognitive Test Scores, CJ Stroud told the media, "I'm a Football player, not an S2 taker".  He didn't deny that his scores were low, which I found rather surprising, but now it seems that he did, in fact, score very poorly on the several times he took the test.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud is one of the most intriguing prospects heading into Thursday night's kickoff of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he responded on Wednesday to the narrative surrounding his evaluation that garnered headlines in recent days.

Stroud, who took questions from reporters after participating in the NFL Play Football clinic, was asked about the results of his S2 Cognition test, which NFL teams use to assess athletes' ability to process information. Stroud took the test multiple times and posted low scores, per NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero.

"I don't know if the test scores are inaccurate or accurate," Stroud said Wednesday.

Stroud has overcome challenges, most notably the incarceration of his father on a prison sentence of over 30 years when Stroud was 13 years old. He’s guarded about certain aspects of his life and that has been reflected in pre-draft meetings with teams. However, several GMs, scouts and coaches said Stroud grew on them the more time they spent with him. And Stroud is more highly regarded in terms of his passing ability and his football IQ than some other recent Ohio State QB prospects.

SO... OKAY, Can we slow down a little here.??  I have some questions.....

AND

Please elucidate.

1. Where is the "verification"? I would like to read anything that "verifies" these scores.
   
2. Other than Tom Pellisero, who else are we quoting?
   
3. How does Pellisero know these score numbers?
   
4. The article by Pellisero that you quoted is OLD news. That article is from the 21st, and is "in fact" the same BS we've been talking about here for the past couple of days. Nothing new in THAT article.
   
5. The second article by Eric Edholm is from yesterday. So, it is current and useful. HOWEVER, other than the quotes from Stroud, what else is there that sheds light on this?
   
6. Yesterday's article (Edholm's) quotes the previous article by Pellisero.!! REALLY.???  So Edholm is using anything he can to further confuse the issue.
   
7. Stroud himself said "I don't know if the test scores are inaccurate or accurate." So Stroud did NOT verify low scores.
   
8. Stroud DID say "I'm a football player, not an S2 taker"  although I don't see how that "means anything". I agree, he's a "football player."
   

NOW.... I do NOT know anything about these disclosures of scores. I do NOT know where Pellisero got his information last week. AND I'm NOT saying that the leaked information is correct or INcorrect.  BUT I DO want to see verification.  So, please post the verifying information if you would please.

IF ANYONE has any verification about these leaked scores, PLEASE POST IT.

Tom P. did not quote scores above, just that C.J. scored low.  CJ was asked about it and didn't deny it.  As far as I'm concerned, if I ask someone about something and they don't deny it, it's an admission.  But it's a moot point at this point.  It's Houston's problem, not ours. 

And I still wouldn't have been upset if we had drafted him at #1.  He's a great and highly talented kid.
