And (correct me if I'm wrong), it was "Mongo" on Blazing Saddles.  Mingo was on Daniel Boone

HOWEVER:  Interestingly enough.... Mongo in Blazing Saddles was played by NFL great, Alex Karras.    How's that for a segue.??
