Questionable play calling, receivers who can't get open or make a catch, no outlet receiver, QB with accuracy and footwork problems, D who collapses in the 4th qtr, The only thing different about this game was a lot more [bad] downfield passes.
Tough days to be a Panther fan. Normally you would think that the only way to go from here is up, but then there is Tepper. Unless he makes major changes in the way this team is run...starting with him (and Nicole) not running it, this dark tunnel just gets deeper.
Young overshot Mingo deep down the sideline on his first pass. It never got better -- for Young or the Panthers.
His overthrow of Mingo was one of four straight incomplete passes from the Saints 45 after defensive end Derrick Brown tipped and intercepted a throw by the Saints’ Derek Carr with 18 seconds left.
One series earlier, Young tried to hit DJ Chark on a fourth-and-2 fade from the Saints 46, but cornerback Alontae Taylor broke it up.
It was Young’s sixth consecutive game with fewer than 200 yards passing. He had done the same four times in a row in October. He was even worse in the first half, going 3 of 15 for 29 yards and losing a fumble on a sack
“We had some interior pressure early on,” said defensive end Carl Granderson, who had one of for sacks for the the Saints. “Once (Young) gets off (his) spot, he’s looking to either run or get to panicking. We were able to cause pressure, get after him and affect his judgment.”

Peter King of NBC Sports went one step further when speaking on the Dan Patrick Show. The respected insider stated Tepper has now replaced Dan Snyder as the league's most incompetent owner. Something he feels should deeply concern fans.
"It's as big a mess as there is in the NFL. The Hunger Games mentality, coaches and staffers are texting the owner telling them what's wrong with the team. David Tepper has turned into the new Dan Snyder without the allegations. He's [George] Steinbrenner without the winning. He's a disaster. If you're going to fire a head coach 10 months into a tenure, you shouldn't have hired him in the first place. They didn't really believe in him. To take all the emails and texts from people within the organization, I'm assuming some if not most of them were Reich's doing a crappy job, this is what we should be doing, is ridiculous. Could you imagine a decent organization undercutting a head coach going to the owner? It's insane. It would really bother me if I were a fan of the Panthers right now.
