I understand your feelings about this. I really do. But, didn't we just get rid of a HC (Rhule) who had "100 percent control" over team and staffing decisions.?? As I recall, that was a difficult and completely unworkable scenario.. Right.?? Why would we want to go back to an arrangement like that.? I am NOT an expert on these things, so there might be a good, sensible reason to do this. I just can't see it. Maybe someone can enlighten me..??

EXACTLY... Under ideal (normal..??) conditions, the GM should, and usually does exert control over those situations. Still, it seems as if everyone wants to fire Fitterer as well as all the coaches, HC, and all of the Front Office as well as the owner.
I was taught early and often to NEVER give voice to a "problem" without first considering and offering a workable solution.... So, I wonder who has a solution other than "Fire 'em all..". You know, a viable, workable solution.??
