QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS ...
These ten are not the complete picture. Lots of questions to be answered. There are four or five here that are important (at least to me..).
1) BURNS = I'm not convinced he is worth the effort. Wants to be paid as a "Top 5" guy. But he's NOT... I'd like to keep him, but not for what he wants. -- TAG him & TRADE him.
2) LUVU = Best Defensive player we have. He gets a new contract. Nothing crazy mind you. NO golden parachutes. 3-4 yrs good money for a LB.
3) CHARK = Gets a contract. Nothing fancy. Needs to step it up. Maybe 3 yrs.
4) FRANKLIN = Best ST guy we have. ALSO -- one of the best ST guys in the league. Need to keep him
5) JANSEN = Part of the kicking game. Mr. Reliable. Really need to keep him. He's relatively inexpensive. At least another year or two.
The rest of these guys are mostly immaterial (IMHO). G-Matos is improving, Chinn remains a quandary, Henderson has underperformed, Chenault is .... ??? Who knows??, Smith-Marsette is decent but we can't pay him as a returner. All of these guys need to step up.
If not --- Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out...
