I like Dilworth Neighborhood Grill. Don't think I've ever met the owner, but I've been in the place many times -- when I'm downtown. Proto-typical sports bar but more "up-scale". I enjoyed the place every time I've been there.
The thing is --- I'm not sure that I understand exactly what this sign means..??? We're "gonna have to start winning" = OK... I agree. That part is easy. But this is the same as passing a law or regulation. It means nothing without an enforcement section. So, what if we don't.?? What is the enforcement option.?? What happens.??
The second part of the sign tells the story... "If we want home field" = Uhh...this is the confusing part. How does 'winning' equate to 'home field'..?? What is the correlation.?? How does one affect the other.?? I don't know. Maybe I'm just dense. It's a shame. All of this education, for nothing. Wasted.
Can someone (WILL someone..) please tell me what I'm missing. What does this sign mean.? What is the message.? Subliminal, maybe.?? Hell if I know....
