With that said, we don't know what the other offers were and I heard two other teams were interested. So I think it's safe to say those two other teams were not offering more than the Ravens , but less. We saw what Jets gave up for Devante Adams, a 6 time pro bowler , a 3rd round pick. So probably. Deonte Johnson wasn't worth what some think he is worth.
My beef was that Dan didn't give it another week.
I liked what Dan did to help build an offensive line, and Jadeveon Clowney really hasn't worked out well to replace Brian Burns. I'm hearing rumblings of how Ejiro Evero is not doing a good job etc... we'll stripping him of linebackers and defensive ends can make many coordinators look worse ( Losing Derrick Brown didn't help, and hurt a lot )
I want Dan to succeed really bad. He need another couple of years, ( Like Canales ) to see if there is progress. Next off season is huge for Dan. We can't afford 2 more bad years to build. We need to see signs of improvement .
sorry but I don’t think the Adams trade is even remotely in the ballpark to use as a comparison. The man has 70 million owed to him and he wasn’t going to play another down with the Raiders and they still got a third rounder… they raped the jets. Where as Johnson is on an expiring contract… we got raped. To move up just so many space. Heck if the ravens win it all it might just be one single spot. Morgan simply got used. He has not a bonafide move that has stood out in our favor since taking the job.
Getting a second this draft was nice trade last draft.
