WOW,, Two games in a row where Bryce has had drives to win the games... only to not win. :30 seconds left.. that's pretty good to leave another team only 30 seconds ..
It's a rebuild year, and over the last 5 weeks ,, I'm seeing what y'all see,, results starting to show up. In time, Individual players on both offense and defense ,, offensive units,, defensive units,, special teams will all click on the same page at the same time like a well oiled machine. It's happening right before our eyes.
A rebuilding year = YES. BUT with a difference.
So what makes this year different (and better) than last year's "rebuilding year", and 2022's "rebuilding year" is the management. The "Who's on first" folks. The ones in charge. Dan and Dave and Mel Tillis (Oops.!!). These guys are like a rabid dog in a pack. Grab the best you can find with an eye on the future. Then keep rolling the roster over when another "can do" type player comes along. Churn it up. Muddy the waters.
Then, if it's done with passion and foresight, what comes out after the rinse and repeat cycles is what we are seeing right now. It's not a finished product, but YES, you can really see the difference.!!

Lest we forget --- This is NOT about Bryce Young. This is about molding a TEAM. Any half-way decent QB could win 5-6 games in this league. Everyone out there is proclaiming Young as the next coming because he's shown up for a couple of games. Believe me, he has a L O N G way to go before he deserves a crown of any sort. Any "decent" QB in this league completes 65-68 % of his passes. The "cream" at the top are over 70 %. In Bryce's last game (his 'BEST' game this year) he completed 58-59% of his passes. That is NOT acceptable for any NFL QB. It's just not good enough.
Still, the team is improving rapidly. AND Bryce is doing better. So there is room for optimism. I'm just not convinced that BY is our QB for the foreseeable future. Sorry.!! AFAIC, Young is on a "Prove It" deal. And he has a long way to go.....
I don’t disagree with stats ( 58-59 % passing) , but one thing that is more difficult to grade is game winning drives .. he won’t get credit for the potential game winning field goal because of a fumble,, or the number of dropped passes., Yes this happens to all teams. But as a team we are growing to actually play respectable football. In time, with another good draft,, we might start beating the Chiefs and Bucs. Instead of the concern of the 58/59 % passing,, for me it’s the defense not making stops in the last min.. that’ll come in time too., Bryce answered the bell on scoring twice in the last minutes, Just another opinion
