Dare I say we have our QB?

He's "almost" there, not completely sold yet.  If he can learn to throw the deep ball downfield (like other actual quarterbacks do), I'll be sold.  He has definitely improved immensely since last year and the early part of this season

Yep.... Kinda, Sorta. "Almost there" = Hmm, I don't know about that...

BY has definitely improved. No doubt about it.  However, I don't believe that HE deserves all of the props. Dan and Dave are building a team. I hope it continues. Right now, as we sit here, Young is nothing more than a 'game manager'. Of course, realistically speaking, most NFL QBs are 'game managers', so.....  Anyway, BY has a long way to go before he will be a true #1, at least in my eyes. He hasn't faced a lot of GOOD teams. AND, he hasn't faced a steady diet of the best the NFL has to offer.  Let's give him a few years before, you know, ( ... "Sliced Bread, Move Over -- There's a new sheriff in town").  Nope, not yet, no sirree Bob. I'm going to want to see more than a few games. I want to see a few seasons of exemplary play. More wins than losses. Multiple years of winning seasons, leadership and honors, Pro Bowls, All-Pros, etc., etc. --- THEN we can talk about how great BY is.

Until then.... ¿Quien sabe? There are at least 20 (or more) #1 QBs in this league I would rather see under center for the Panthers....  Seriously... If you could rank BY, where would he "fit" in the league right now.??  I would have to think about it, but I can guarantee it would NOT be anywhere near the top.
Hmmm, maybe that would be a good exercise.? I'll think about it....
