The Panthers have announced another addition to the growing list of last year's players who have "agreed to terms" for the coming year. The potential list of losses from last year was a long one, but the Panthers have re-signed some of them. WR Dan Chisena was a Practice Squad guy for a big part of the year, but was added to the 53 late in the year where he contributed mostly on Special Teams.

Quote:CHARLOTTE — The Panthers held onto a player who could become a contributor on special teams and provide offensive depth on Wednesday.
The team agreed to terms with wide receiver Dan Chisena to a one-year deal. He was scheduled to become a restricted free agent.
The 28-year-old Chisena signed to the practice squad last October and was promoted to the active roster in December. He also caught his first NFL pass (followed by his second and his third) while appearing down the stretch.
He's had stints with the Vikings, Steelers, Cardinals, and Ravens before coming here.
A former track athlete at Penn State, Chisena reportedly ran a 4.32-second 40 at his pro day. He also played three seasons of football for the Nittany Lions and had three receptions there.
He used that speed on special teams here, including some work as a gunner in the final two weeks.
