PANTHER TO ROOT FOR - HUNTER RENFROW - WHAT A STORY..!!!

I'm a sucker for an 'underdog' story. Hunter Renfrow has had a tough go of it.  Nothing was given to him. He made himself into a SMALL but effective NFL receiver. From "walk-on" in college to Pro-Bowl, everything he managed to do was because of his never-say-die attitude. Then faced with a career ending medical diagnosis of Ulcerative Colitis he skipped a year --- And NOW, he's back. We'll see how this works out. The Panthers have a lot of WRs to battle through. No guarantees.  But, if desire and determination mean anything, he has a chance.

One of the best WRs I've ever seen at getting open. Talk about "separation"..!!!

Hunter Renfrow --- Formerly of the Raiders before a terrible bout with Ulcerative Colitis.  Renfrow played as a slot receiver for the most part. 

So, what's so special about Renfrow.??  Well, no telling how (or IF) he'll work out here in Carolina. But the Raiders had a TERRIFIC "name" for him while he was there. He had a habit of getting 'open' and making DBs look a little foolish.  So, left to their own devices, the Raiders gave him a "handle".

Yep, I've kind of quietly been learning about him and his journey since we signed him. It's hard not to root for the guy!

Good video....he is a guy that is easy to root for,  Hope he makes it,  Could be the Theilen heir.  I would love to have him on our team.

With the proliferation of player nicknames across the league, it's great that Renfrow has a "perfect" one already. (Even though it is a holdover from the Raiders).  When I saw it, I thought "man, that's crazy. What a perfect "handle"."
