I'll admit that I left early. When you're down 17 in the 1st half, things start to look a little crazy. Some questionable play calls and BY's two turnovers -- well, it seemed pointless and my head was hurting.

That's no excuse, I know. As the Panthers proved, "It ain't over till it's over".... (Thanks, Mr. Yogi Berra..).

Anyway, I watched parts of the third and the fourth, before admitting that I screwed up by opting out when I did. So, after rewatching some parts and the parts I missed, Here are my thoughts. Would love to know what all of you think...

BEST:
Panthers' RUN DEFENSE..
Rico Dowdle's OFFENSIVE JUGGERNAUT -- (Wow... What a clinic he put on..)
XL's TD CATCH --  (He literally had the defender grabbing him with both hands before the catch - This was a textbook example of PI..)
McMillan continues to play "heads-up" football.
Two THREE solid sacks on Tua --  (Still not a LOT of pressure though..)

OTHER STUFF:
Too many pass completions allowed deep in our secondary. (Outside contain (passing) was not good; Deep cover was not good.)
Not enough pressure on QB.
Bryce Young's two more turnovers.
Another SLOW start
Too many penalties (In the first half we had five - they had one --- I THINK that's right..?)

I LOVED seeing Rico go off yesterday!  It was like watching him back at South Carolina again!  He was such an exciting player, and I knew it when he came here that he was going to turn some heads:

I laughed when one of the announcers stated that he looked like DeAngelo Williams out there, because I've said the same thing about him quite a few times.

As for Bryce, his footwork was all over the place yesterday.  There was one play where he threw the ball to somebody on the left side of the field (who was all covered up, by the way), and threw the ball way behind them and over their head, all while Xavier Legette was wide open in the endzone with literally nobody even close to him.

And what happened to Bryce scrambling to get out of the pocket.  It's like he gets mesmerized back there until someone is right on top of him.

Anyways, thankful for the win.  The last three quarters was a pretty doggoned good game.

Cool

You’re right.. Great effort.. No quit. Coming back when you’re down 17 - is GREAT. Coming back twice is another level. And the “D” did finish strong.

YES … A win is a win. Still, we have one week to clean it up. The ‘Boys will not be so easy. Dak Prescott is back and playing well. We better be ready.!!

I made a mistake up there ^^^
Panthers had three (3) sacks — CORRECTED
