2021 SEASON KICKOFF - OFFICIAL GAMEDAY THREAD - JETS @ PANTHERS

It's been a minute since I have been as hyped for a game as I am for this one. 

The theme for today (and probably this week, rather good, bad, or indifferent) will be Sam Darnold.

The kid has talent.  He has experience.  I just hope the trauma from his time with the Jets doing carry over, and he can realize he is on a team with some huge weapons.  

Any quality quarterback should be able to win with this team and the weapons we have available.  

We may not have the stoutest O-Line in the NFL, but if he doesn't get happy feet, he can really open some eyes today.

We played well. Especially in the second quarter on o. D did work! Keep it up.

McCaffrey is a heck of a check down.

Great team win. Our Defense played lights out. The Offense made some errors but for the most part, they did well. They only allowed one sack on Darnold, compared to Zach Wilson getting sacked six times by our D.

We have to play better next week, though. The Saints killed the Packers tonight and looked like they just came off a Super Bowl win.
