WEEK 8 INJURY REPORT - WEDNESDAY ------> FRIDAY

It seems like the Injury Report gets longer each week.  Of course, the results by game time have been mostly positive, although several players have been "OUT" for a couple of games.

This week there are 14 players listed on the Report today (Wednesday..).  Of the 14 listed there are five shown as DNP (Did Not Practice..). of those five only Chuba Hubbard looks to be a potential problem. Hubbard is shown with an ankle injury that apparently happened "late" in Sunday's game against the Bucs.  The other four DNPs were all listed as either "personal" or "illness". Those guys should make a return this week as long as they aren't TOO sick.

Of the 9 remaining players on the list all are shown as LP (Limited Practice..).  Jaycee Horn, Matthew Ioannidis, Donte Jackson, and Frankie Luvu have ALL been on this list several times in the past few weeks.  Their status is sort of a 'day-to-day' thing each week. No reason to believe that this week is any different. Ioannidis has a concussion and Luvu's 'shoulder' continue to be "troubling". Horn's 'Ribs' and Jackson's 'Ankle' continue to hang around this week as well.

THURSDAY UPDATE...

It looks like the Panthers are getting a little healthier. Today (Thursday..) the Panthers have only two players listed as DNP. Marquise Haynes and Chuba Hubbard are both held out. Haynes continues to show evidence of "Illness" which is indicative of a 'positive' Covid test. I don't KNOW that for certain, but Wilks mentioned Covid protocol in his presser yesterday.  Hubbard's ankle is apparently still bothering him also. ALSO...today the Panthers have added RG Austin Corbett to the Report. He has a knee issue that has limited him today. Hopefully that will not carry forward the rest of the week.

The rest of the report has the same players as yesterday---ALTHOUGH, the majority of them are either the same as yesterday or have improved. Of the players listed today, there are now six who are shown as Full Practice (FP) which is a great improvement over yesterday.

FRIDAY UPDATE...

The Injury Report for Friday is looking better. There is one more player on the report (Justin Burris..), but a lot of folks are getting healthier. Only Chuba Hubbard is definitely "OUT" for this weeks game, with Haynes, Horn, Luvu, and Burris listed as "Questionable".  All of the rest of the guys on the report were 'Full Practice' on Friday and have no status for the Game on Sunday.
